Chengdu Open Air Music Park

The closing ceremony of the Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games will be held at the Chengdu Open Air Music Park on 8 August, 2023. 

The park boasts a main stage, five themed theaters, a dedicated Guqin performance platform, sports facilities, waters, lighting, and auxiliary structures. The world's largest panoramic surround sound, half-indoor theater is the highlight of the park. This incredible structure spans an impressive 180 meters horizontally and reaches a staggering height of 50 meters. The projectable dome on top covers an area of approximately 10,000 square meters, while the sprawling lawn viewing area can accommodate up to 47,000 audiences. 

The Chengdu Open Air Music Park is one of the top open-air music performance venues in China and the only outdoor music-themed urban park in the country. Drawing from both international and local elements such as the Sun and Immortal Birds, the Tianfu culture, and the ancient Shu music, it offers visitors a diverse range of activities for cultural performances, entertainment, and sightseeing.
