FISU Volunteer Programme Seeks Applicants as FISU World University Championship and University World Cup Seasons Continue
The 2022 FISU World University Championship season is well underway with exciting events already completed in ski orienteering, speed skating, and cross country, and the first 2022 FISU University World Cup of the year, in finswimming, also recently took place. With many more events to be held in 2022, the need for volunteers remains important and the FISU Volunteer Programme is again looking for those interested in helping at the upcoming FISU Championships and World Cups.
The FISU Volunteer Programme is open to students from around the world seeking experience and to develop their organisational skills by working with organising committees on FISU Championships and World Cups. While providing skill developing opportunities, volunteers are crucial to the success of any event and enable host destinations to deliver great competitions for top student-athletes.
"Sport and education have been at the forefront of FISU's main mission since its founding," said FISU Secretary General-CEO, Eric SAINTROND. "Volunteering opportunities like this provide students with practical experience behind the scenes with event organisers, adding to their skillset, enhancing an existing skill or even inspiring them to take on a new career path in the field of sport and education."
Those interested in this can check out the FISU website for more information.
