Brasília Becomes Host of 2022 Brazilian University Games


Brasília is the host city of the Brazilian University Games – JUBs 2022. After the success of the 2021 edition, the Federal Capital will once again host the biggest university sports competition in Latin America.


"It is an honor to announce that the Brazilian University Games – JUBs 2022 will be hosted again in Brasília. Capital Federal showed extraordinary conditions at the reception of the 2021 edition, and even during the pandemic the event was a huge success. The 2022 edition will be even more structured: we have the full support of the Federal Government and the Government of the GDF, providing guarantees and conditions to carry out even better and memorable JUBs for all participants," said Luciano Cabral, president of CBDU.

Giselle Ferreira, the head of the Department of Sports and Leisure (SEL) of the District Federal (DF) was a great supporter of JUBs BSB 2021, and is even more excited for the 2022 edition. "Welcoming thousands of athletes here in last year's edition had It means a lot to us, because it marked the reopening of our city to host major national and international sporting events," recalls Giselle. "By the determination of our governor Ibaneis Rocha, after months of hard work and commitment, we managed to deliver an incredible event, which has already entered the history of the sport of the DF," she concludes.
